Founder's story

At 42, I embarked on the journey to pursue a Global Executive MBA. After 18 years in the real estate sector, working for some of the UK's largest REITs, I found myself no longer feeling fulfilled in my role. I knew I needed to do something that aligned more directly with my purpose - something that would allow me to make a meaningful impact.

Despite extensive research, I discovered a significant gap in resources tailored for experienced professionals like myself. While younger MBA candidates had abundant guidance, there was little addressing the unique challenges facing executives in their mid-30s to 50s applying to top business schools.

The application process presented a number of hurdles: getting support from my husband and two daughters, negotiating with my employer for flexibility and potential some funding, managing the substantial financial investment, crafting compelling application essays, and developing a strategy to balance executive-level work responsibilities with family life and rigorous academics. I felt overwhelmed.

After lots of time-consuming research and figuring things out step by step, my efforts paid off. I was accepted to both Imperial College Business School and my top choice, IESE Business School. Additionally, I secured a scholarship from IESE that covered a portion of my tuition

The journey taught me something important, this process shouldn't be so hard for people in our position. That's why I created EMAP – the Executive MBA Admissions Playbook. My mission is simple: to help other experienced professionals between 35-50 years old navigate this journey without the stress and confusion I experienced. I want to democratize access to quality information specifically tailored for EMBA and GEMBA candidates and help you get into the top business schools in Europe and the US without the overwhelm.
